The Book of Nature—also known as general or natural revelation—is the category for what’s known as “natural law.” Natural law refers to God’s revelation of moral duties that are discernible from human conscience and the created order and that orient God’s image-bearers toward human flourishing.
In the previous post we looked into special revelation—the Book of Scripture—for confirmation that natural law exists, and we focused on the Old Testament evidence for it. In this post we will see the New Testament evidence for the existence of natural law. We will make this case from the words of the apostle Paul in the book of Acts and in his letter to the Romans.
