Natural law refers to God’s revelation of moral duties that are discernible from human conscience and the created order and that orient God’s image-bearers toward human flourishing.
Natural law exists because of general revelation (the Book of Nature). But did you know that special revelation (the Book of Scripture) also confirms the existence of natural law?
According to David VanDrunen, “If we embrace the idea of natural revelation as Scripture describes it, we also believe in natural law.”1
