Since January 1 (the day this site launched), I’ve written twice a week, sometimes more, producing a hundred free articles on different passages and topics, all with the goal of growing in understanding Scripture. I’ve had such a blast doing this, and I’m grateful for your support and for the fact that you’re subscribed to this site. What an encouragement!
I’ll continue this writing pace through the end of 2023. But a change is coming for 2024. I want to write more for my paid subscribers. To this point, such writing has focused on the Song of Songs. Those articles will continue, but I want to broaden to other topics for these subscribers as well.
Beginning in January 2024, there will be one free article—rather than two—every week. This will enable me to write at least one article per week for paid subscribers. In addition to more articles, paid subscribers will also have access to the podcast component of this site where I will create audio versions of all articles.
If you’d like to join the Biblical Theology community as a paid subscriber, here’s a steep discount running now through the end of November. The subscription is now 75% off, which totals less than $2 a month! If you jump on this discount, your monthly membership will remain at that percentage for as long as you’re a subscriber. Becoming a paid subscriber secures access to all content on this site, including the posts I’ve written on the Song of Songs. The comments section on all posts are also open to you so that we can interact over the content. And there will be even more articles for these subscribers in January 2024.
If you have found value in this Biblical Theology newsletter and you’re interested in supporting the work, here are some ways to do that.
First, you could tell others about this newsletter on your social media. The internet is an ocean of information, so when you recommend resources to others, things happen. People are more likely to check out a resource when you tell them about it.
Second, you could become a paid subscriber and join the Biblical Theology community. Paid subscriptions are a strong indicator to show what you value, and I’d be honored by your support. The subscription is 75% off right now: https://mitchchase.substack.com/562c8274
Third, you could purchase a subscription for others you know. Do you have family members or friends who like Biblical Theology? Do you have church members who would benefit from concise, weekly, accessible resources on Biblical Theology? Consider purchasing some subscriptions for others.
I hope your season of Advent is full of wonder and blessing. This is my favorite time of year!
Grace and peace be with you.
Hello Dr Chase
I suppose this may be obvious, but you mention that if we subscribe with this discount, our monthly membership will remain at that percentage for as long as we’re a subscriber. Can I assume the annual subscription will also remain at the discounted price as long as we are a subscriber. If so, can we upgrade to the discounted annual price before the end of November?
