A Week of Deep Discounts!
Don’t Sleep On These Deals
We’re at that part of November where wild deals are everywhere. And I want you to know about some resources you should check out.
The Westminster Bookstore site has their “Christmas Guide” page up and running. It’s here: https://www.wtsbooks.com/collections/christmas-gift-guide
And on that page, you’ll find great deals, including Black Friday discounts. With Christmas coming up, there are people you know who will love something here. Get some gifts for folks while the gettin’s good!
If you’d like some recommendations, here’s a list. (And if you purchase anything at all from the Westminster Bookstore, make sure to use “CHASE” as a promo code at checkout to lower your total even more!)
Ask Pastor John, by Tony Reinke. This compilation of questions and answers covers a vast array of topics. You’ll enjoy reading through John Piper’s reasoning as he tackles some of the toughest questions.
Daily Doctrine, by Kevin DeYoung. This book helps you spend a year thinking through systematic theology. And since the new year is approaching, this book would be great to incorporate into times of devotion.
The Psalms, a four-volume commentary by Christopher Ash. I’ve shared about this commentary set before. It’s an extraordinary achievement, and I wish everyone would take time to work through the beautiful and insightful writing that Ash gives us. The set is currently 50% off. Yes, it’s on backorder, but orders will get filled soon. If you place your order, you’ll secure the discount.
Living Life Backward, by David Gibson. Understanding the book of Ecclesiastes is so important, and Gibson is a trustworthy guide.
How to Lead Your Family, by Joel Beeke. If Joel Beeke has written something, it’s worth reading. And this new book for men will inspire, encourage, and equip you.
Training Young Hearts, a set of six board books that you’ll enjoy reading with your kids.
Big Questions, a collection of six books that address, well, “big questions” for you and your children!
Disciplines of a Godly Man, by Kent Hughes. This classic is in paperback, and if you’ve never read it, you’ll be blessed by what Hughes has to say.
Theologians on the Christian Life, a set of marvelous books on key theologians and their theology. I especially loved the ones on C. S. Lewis, John Newton, and Jonathan Edwards.
