Moses is the figure who looms largest across the Pentateuch. He’s born in Exodus 2, and he dies in Deuteronomy 34. There are lot of biblical chapters that chronicle his leadership and mediatorial work for the Israelites. He is alive for 136 biblical chapters that are found in four books (Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy).

He died at 120 years old. When you zoom out, you can see that his life divides into three major periods.
